FB (F1000) as introduced by the SCCA has some of the fastest, latest technology race cars on the track. The specifications of the Stohr F1000 are listed below.
ENGINE & DRIVETRAIN* Suzuki GSXR, Quaife differential, with the famous 'Stohr Spar' - the fully machined aluminum case used on the WF1. Custom aluminum radiator and large oil cooler are standard. Sequential paddle shifters included. AERODYNAMICS & BODYWORK The wings are made of high strength pre-preg composites, oven-cured at 275deg. A rear diffuser gives maximum ground effect downforce. The entire body is made from the same super strong, ultra-light fiberglass composite used on the Stohr WF1. SUSPENSION Center-lock light-weight racing wheels are standard. Shocks are coil-over, non-adjustable. Goodyear tires are 8x13 front and 10x13 rear. Uprights are machined from billet aluminum, with steel sleeves installed for extra wheel bearing rigidity. Pushrod suspension is used on all 4 wheels, with a 1:1 motion ratio. BRAKES Wilwood billet aluminum brake calipers are used. Like the WF1, the F1000 has the same 4 piston front and 2 piston rear calipers. Custom-made brake rotors, parallel surface ground, fully floating on lightweight billet aluminum brake hats. DIMENSIONS Car Weight = 775lbs (350kg). Wheelbase = 99in. Front Track = 64in. Rear Track = 61in.
