Sources to Consider Purchase Your Car

Car sales can be found just about anywhere. There are quite a lot of private vendors that sell their cars privately, independent and national car dealers and exclusive showrooms for new cars. There are also a few dealers that sell cars that have been repossessed or have been taken from police impounds. You can also get into an agreement with a loan company that claims the cars from buyers who have not been regular with their payments. Since these loan companies have to recover their money fast, they often sell them to buyers at a very low rate. This would be a good source for you to try. You can even consider a car auction.

How To Clean Yellow Headlights
- Headlights are now made from poly carbon plastic instead of Glass. This type of plastic is very hard but very porous. So they need to be sealed.
- The debris from the road which is basically small rocks, sand and pebbles being kick up by on-going traffic at speeds of 30 to 80 mph acts like a sand blaster on your headlights. Now this debris eventually chips away the sealer of your headlights making small dents and cracks. Then these dents and crack starts to collect dirt and grime from all around.
- The suns UV rays combined with the acid rain and the acid from the stomach of bugs plus the petro chemical from the asphalt on the roads eats away on the sealer on your headlights like a cancer. Before you know it your once nice crystal clear looking headlight gets foggy, cloudy and yellow. If at this point you don't address the situatation of restoring them your headlights can and will start to get heavily oxidized resulting in a rough to the touch feeling. Apart from looking ugly you will be loosing a great deal of your light projection which can result in an accident.
- You will need to tape off or mask the yellow headlights to protect your vehicle paint job.
- Start sanding the lenses with a 1000 grit sand paper then go to a 1500 grit and then a 2000 grit. I suggest using wet/dry sand paper. While sanding, keep the headlight surface wet with a spray bottle filled with water or use a garden hose running slowly.
- After wet sanding wash headlight with clean water and then polish the headlights with preferable a water-soluble polish.
- Before your final step of sealing the headlights you need to dry them off completely. If necessary use a blow dryer to ensure that there is no moisture on them because a drop of water can ruin your entire finish. Then finally seal the headlights with a good quality polymer sealer. The quality of your sealer will depend on how long your headlights will stay looking like new.

Changing a Tire-how one can change tires?
- Jack
- Wheel lock key
- Wheel chocks or bricks
- Wheel nut wrench
- Rubber mallet
- Pry bar, tire iron or large screwdriver
- Protective work gloves
Step 1:
The car has to be parked on a level surface and the parking brake has to be engaged. The manual transmission cars should be placed in gear. Ensure that the car is not on the road. The engine has to be turned off and the hazard lights should be turned on. Open the car's hood as this will be an indication of a vehicle under repair for other drivers.
Place a big rock or wheel chock behind the tire for preventing the car from rolling. It must be done even when there is a slight incline. Take out the car jack, spare, lug nut and wrench.
The hubcap should be removed if needed.
The lug nuts which hold the wheel should be loosened before the car is jacked up. One end of the lug nut wrench should be placed over the lug nut. A hollow pipe having a length of about 2 feet should be used for leverage by slipping it over the end of the lug nut wrench. Now the wrench can be turned anti-clockwise for loosening the lug nut. It should be loosened in a pattern of a star, loosen the first with few turns and then loosen the opposite one. Work crosswise on the tire until all the nuts are slightly unscrewed.
Carefully raise the car on the jack and consult the car manual for more instructions. The car has to be jacked up a little more higher than needed so that there will be space available to remove the old tire and then putting on the new one.
The lug nuts have to be removed all the way and put them aside where they will not roll away. The flat tire will be hanging from the struts at this point.
Remove the flat tire now and place it aside.
Lift the new tire on to the wheel studs. In case there is any confusion regarding putting it in a correct way, then try to locate the valve from where the air is filled because it always points outwards.
Now the lug nuts should be replaced. Tighten them in the same way in which they were loosened. Turn each nut for few times and work in a pattern of a star around the wheel. Don't tighten the adjacent nuts consecutively.
Now when the tire has been put on, lower the jack slowly and then remove it.
The lug nuts can be tightened again, make sure that they are tightened firmly.
Now the hubcap can be put back on.
The new tire is on the wheel. Take the old tire to the auto store or repair shop as soon as possible, and have the lug nuts properly torque.
- A hydraulic jack will make the car jack up easier.
- Be sure that you are aware where the wheel key lock is, it should be in the car. The places are the glove box and it can be attached to the jack handle.
- The method for changing tires can be practiced few times to get familiarized so one will be prepared in emergency cases.
